Visiting a solar energy plant in Ea Wer commune, Buon Don district, he appreciated the plant’s economic value as it provides some 150 million kWh per year to the national grid, earning some VND300 billion and contributing VND30 billion each year to the local budget.
Noting that low-efficiency agricultural production areas should pay attention to developing solar energy, he urged local authorities and solar energy producers to concentrate on dealing with the battery after the projects end, absolutely not polluting the environment for boosting economic development.
Visiting the Serepok agricultural and tourism cooperative in Tan Hoa commune, Buon Don district with 44 members cultivating on an area of nearly 200 hectares of fruits, he shared his happiness with local residents for earning high economic value from the fruits as each member of the cooperative has an income of millions of VND each year.
He suggested that local residents develop the product trade mark and expand consumption markets, thus establishing large material areas.
He also asked the provincial Party Committee, authority and agencies to make conditions for the expansion of the model of the Serepok agricultural and tourism cooperative. “In particular, it is necessary to apply advanced technologies into production for increasing economic value,” he added./.
