The Vietnam Journalists Association has held the 13th Congress of the Executive Board of the 10th Vietnam Journalists Association. Comrade Thuan Huu, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan newspaper, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Commission of Popularization and Education, and President of Vietnam Journalists Association, chaired the congress.

The congress aims to discuss and give comments on the draft report on implementing Resolution of the 12th plenum of the 10th Executive Board of Vietnam Journalists Association; implement the tasks until the end of 2020 and orientations for 2021; report on the preparation for the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Journalists Association; and collect ideas on the Draft Political Report of the 11th Congress. The event also approved the report on the results of the introduction of personnel for election to the Executive Board of the 11th Vietnam Journalists Association, term 2020-2025.

At the Conference, the Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Ho Quang Loi presented a report on the results of implementing the Resolution of the 12th plenum of the Executive Board of Vietnam Journalists Association, and implementing tasks until 2020 and orientations for 2021.

Over the past year, the Association and its branches at all levels have actively performed well the assigned political tasks. 

In 2021, the association will focus on dissemination of the 13th National Congress, important events and great celebrations of the country. /.
