(13th Congress) Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc presented a decision on October 29 in Hanoi transferring and appointing Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee and Head of the 14th National Assembly deputies delegation of Kien Giang province, as Deputy Minister of Construction.

The Prime Minister expressed his belief that Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi will successfully complete his assigned tasks, making practical contributions to the development of the whole construction sector.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi was born in 1976. He held the positions of Deputy Rector of the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh, and Deputy Minister of Construction in March 2014. In October 2015, he was elected as the Secretary of the 10th Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi was assigned to be a member of the Party Committee for Civil Affairs of the Ministry of Construction at the 11th Kien Giang Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term on October 16./.
