Colonel Tran Van Cung was born in 1970 from U Minh Thuong district, Kien Giang province.
At the event, Major General Bui Tuyet Minh, Director of the Kien Giang provincial Police, said that in the new position, Colonel Tran Van Cung needs to further uphold the sense of responsibility, promote democracy, internal solidarity and collective intelligence.
He should give good advice to the Party committees and local authorities in the field of national security, social order and safety, building the Party and building a clean and strong provincial police force, fulfilling the responsibilities assigned by leaders of Ministry of Public Security and Party committees and local authorities./.
