Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung has signed a decision approving the task of Thai Nguyen province planning in the 2021-2030 period, and vision to 2050.

The plan must be consistent and synchronized with the objectives, orientations and contents of the 10-year socio-economic development strategy in the 2021- 2030 period, the 5-year plan of 2021-2025 and Vietnam vision, development strategies of important sectors and fields of the whole country, and international treaties to which Vietnam is a signatory.
It will build perspectives, set visions, define goals and orient new development space to promote the potential effectiveness, comparative advantages and unique competitive advantages of Thai Nguyen in comparison with neighboring provinces and the region; focus on developing a number of key industries such as mechanical engineering, processing industry, electronics industry, supporting industry, construction and real estate business; agriculture, forestry and fisheries; trade-tourism and services; medical and healthcare; and education, training and human resource development.
It must comply with the provisions of Article 27 of the Planning Law 2017 and Article 28 of Decree 37/2019/ ND-CP of July 5th, 2019, of the Government, which needs analysis, assessment and prediction of specific local development factors and conditions; and assess the current situation of socio-economic development, the current status of land use, the status of urban and rural systems.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned Thai Nguyen provincial People's Committee to, based on the approved task, make the plan ensure compliance with the provisions of the Planning Law and current regulations, and submit it to the competent authorities for approval in accordance with the law./.
