Born in 1962 in Ninh Binh province, Mr. Tran Quoc To is a member of the 12th Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen provincial Party Committee and Head of the 14th National Assembly deputy delegation of Thai Nguyen province.

Under the authorization of the Prime Minister, Minister To Lam presented the decision appointing Mr. Tran Quoc To as Deputy Minister of Public Security.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Lam affirmed that Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To was a cadre with basic training, matured from the grassroots and practical work and has spent many years working in the People's Police force. In all positions, regardless of the circumstances, he always upholds the sense of responsibility, promotes the role of the leader to overcome all difficulties and challenges to excellently complete assigned tasks.

Over the past years, as the Secretary of the Thai Nguyen provincial Party Committee, and Head of the National Assembly deputy delegation of Thai Nguyen province, he has joined together with the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee to lead and direct the province to have breakthroughs and strong development in all aspects.

Mr. To has been acknowledged and highly appreciated by the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security, the Party Committee and the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, and awarded many noble titles. He deserves to be a leader of the People's Public Security force, the Minister added./.
