The President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area is of special significance in terms of politics, culture and society, in which its security needs to be protected completely to serve the Party, State and people delegations, as well as international visitors paying homage to President Ho Chi Minh and commemorating heroic martyrs.
Over the past time, agencies of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defence have closely worked together to overcome difficulties for serving visiting delegations in accordance with COVID-19 preventive measures.
Accordingly, the agencies have promoted efficiency in leadership and raised the sense of responsibility of cadres and soldiers in ensuring security and order in President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square and the martyrs’ memorial.
During the working meeting, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi stressed that there would be many important political events, especially the 13th National Party Congress and the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and the People’s Councils term 2021-2026. “The agencies should support each other to maintain security and order, creating favourable conditions for people and international tourists to pay homage to Uncle Ho Mausoleum and surrounding areas,” he said./.
