(13th Congress) – The Vietnam Food Administration asked the Department of Health and the Food Safety Management Board to strengthen post-inspection, especially ensuring food safety before, during and after the Lunar New Year (Tet) and during the 13th National Party Congress.
The Vietnam Food Administration (Ministry of Health) has issued an official letter to the Departments of Health of Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Bac Ninh on strengthening post-inspection on food safety.

From the beginning of 2021, synchronous solutions were carried out to control food safety in collective kitchens in industrial zones, schools and establishments providing ready-to-eat food; strengthening forces and resources to minimize the number of food poisoning cases and the number of people suffering from collective poisoning.
At the same time, the Vietnam Food Administration also asked local health agencies to enhance post-checking of products’ self-declaration documents; and check, take testing samples and handle violations on health food advertisement, especially violations on social networks./.
