(13th Congress) - On March 15, the Election Commission and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh held a conference to hand over the profiles of candidates nominated as deputies of the 15th NA and 14th Quang Ninh People’s Council for the 2021-2026 term.

According to a report of the Quang Ninh Department of Home Affairs, as of March 14, the Quang Ninh Election Commission received 32 candidacy dossiers nominated as deputies of the 15th National Assembly, excluding dossiers of self-nominated candidates.
Quang Ninh had 284 candidacy dossiers for the 14th provincial People’s Council, including 283 dossiers of nominated candidates and 1 of a self-nominated candidate.
At the ceremony, the provincial Election Commission handed over the profile of 316 candidates nominated as deputies of the 15th NA and the 14th People’s Council for the 2021-2026 term to the Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh, in accordance with regulations to prepare for the second consultation conference.
Quang Ninh has 3 constituencies for the 15th NA with 8 elected deputies and 21 constituencies for the 14th People’s Council with 66 elected deputies./.
