()13th Congress) - The Ministry of Finance has held a conference to collect voters’ comments on Politburo member and Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung, who is expected to be nominated as deputy of the 15th NA.

At the conference, delegates said that in each assigned position, Mr. Dinh Tien Dung always had a high sense of responsibility, successfully completed the task, and was highly appreciated by the Party, the Government, the National Assembly and the people.
According to the delegates, Minister Dinh Tien Dung fully satisfies the conditions to continue to participate in the next National Assembly election.
Standing Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Xuan Ha said that as a member of the Government, Mr. Dinh Tien Dung joined the Government team to recommend the NA to promulgate many documents, legal regulations and NA resolutions on socio-economic development in the 2016-2020 period and annual resolutions of the NA.
In the finance-budget sector, under the direction of Minister Dung, the Ministry of Finance has submitted six Laws to the NA, including Law on Export Tax, Law on Import Tax, Law on Public Property Use Management, Law on Public Debt Management, Law on Tax Administration, and Law on Securities and 7 Resolution of the NA on financial solutions, tax, and state budget estimates.
After listening to comments, the conference voted to introduce Politburo member and Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung as the 15th NA deputy with 100% approval./.
