Mr. Tran Thang, born in 1966, has been a member of the Standing Board of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Ba Don Town Party Committee, and Standing Deputy Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, before being elected as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

In Decision 1951/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved allowing Mr Tran Cong Thuat to leave his position as Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee, term 2016-2021, for his retire according to regulations.
In Decision 1953/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved Mr. Tran Tien Dung’s retirement from the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province, term 2016-2021, according to regulations.
