Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Vuong Dinh Hue attended a conference in Hanoi on April 12 to announce the National Assembly’s Resolution on the election of the State Auditor General and the handing over of the work of the State Auditor General, reported NDO.

Member of the NA Standing Committee and Chairwoman of the Board for Deputy Affairs Nguyen Thi Thanh announced the NA Resolution on the election of the State Auditor General.
Accordingly, Tran Sy Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Office, was elected as Auditor General of the State Audit of Vietnam at the 11th session of the 14th legislature. The Resolution came into force after it was passed by the 14th NA on April 7, 2021.
Speaking at the conference, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue congratulated State Auditor General Tran Sy Thanh on being elected by the NA with a high number of votes while congratulating former State Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc for the excellent completion of his duty in the 2016-2021 term and his appointment as the new Finance Minister.
The NA Chairman said that Tran Sy Thanh has been well-trained and held many different positions, and he has always fulfilled his assigned tasks at both the central and local levels.
He expressed his belief that Tran Sy Thanh will lead the State Audit agency to perform well in the tasks that have been constituted.
NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue also witnessed the signing ceremony to hand over the work of the State Auditor General to the new Auditor General./.
