Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh attended the great national solidarity festival on November 17 with residents of Hoa Vuong residential area in Loc Vuong ward, the northern city of Nam Dinh, reported NDO.
Addressing the event, Deputy PM Minh underlined the difficulties and obstacles facing the country this year, including the impacts posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters.
He underscored the great value and strength of the spirit of solidarity amongst people in the face of all the various difficulties and challenges, affirming the strength of the great national unity bloc has always been one of the most important resources for the entire Party, army and people to overcome all difficulties, contributing to successfully implementing the national renewal and development causes, the NDO reported.
The Deputy PM added that with the determination and efforts of the whole political system and the solidarity and unanimity of both people and enterprises, Vietnam has achieved respectable results throughout the year.
On this occasion, Deputy PM Minh presented 10 gifts to needy families in the Hoa Vuong residential area./.
