Le Thanh Do elected as Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee (Source: dienbien.gov.vn)

On November 10, the 14th Dien Bien Provincial People’s Committee held the 15th meeting to elect a new Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and pass three resolutions.
At this meeting, Dien Bien Provincial People's Council passed three resolutions, including promulgating principles, criteria and norms for the allocation of public investment capital from the local budget in the 2021-2025 period; adjusting the medium-term public investment plan with the State budget capital for the 2016-2020 period and the public investment plan for 2020; and promulgating regulations on the spending content and supporting agricultural extension activities in the province.
Addressing the ceremony to receive the new task, Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 tenure Le Thanh Do emphasized to continue innovating leadership methods, improving capacity, effectiveness and efficiency of executive direction to concretize the Party's resolutions and State policies into action plans and programs in order to bring resolutions of the Party and the provincial People's Council into life, and to help Dien Bien province develop rapidly and sustainably./.
