The Cao Bang Provincial People Committee on October 20 held an inauguration ceremony of a road project in the Southern Cao Bang city; to attach the signboard and put into use the headquarters of Party agencies Bloc Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations of Cao Bang province, and start to build the Cao Bang Provincial Museum.

These are important works to welcome the 19th Cao Bang Provincial Party Congress for the 2020 – 2025 term, towards the 13th National Party Congress.
The road project in the Southern Cao Bang city has been carried out since 2011 with a total investment of 1,087 billion VND. The total length of the route is 5,896m and its width is 58m, with 6 main lanes for cars and 4 lanes on both sides for rudimentary vehicles.
The route will connect the old urban area with the new administrative centre of Cao Bang province, creating a driving force for the new urban area to become a political, economic, cultural and social center of the province; create favorable conditions for transport activities and serve the socio-economic development of the locality.
The headquarters of the Party agencies Bloc of Cao Bang province has a total investment of 353 billion VND. The headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations of Cao Bang province has a total investment of 117 billion VND. The two projects started construction from January 2019, and have been basically completed to put into use.
The Provincial Museum Project has a total investment of 376 billion VND and it is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2023.
The Provincial Museum Project aims to combine functions of library, film screening, exhibition of publications and documents introducing the history of formation and achievements in the innovation process of Cao Bang province. At the same time, it also promotes potentials and advantages of the province in fields, especially the Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark to serve study, scientific research, providing information, disseminating knowledge, improving the cultural and spiritual life of the local people, contributing to the cause of local socio-economic innovation, improving Cao Bang province’s image in the eyes of domestic and international friends. The work will be the office of the Management Board of the Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark and Cultural Centre of the province./.
