(13th Congress) - The Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang has organized the third consultative meeting to select and make a list of qualified candidates for deputies of the 15th National Assembly (NA) and People’s Council at all levels (term 2021-2026).

According to a report of the Standing Board of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, after the second consultative conference, the front made a preliminary list and summary biographies of 13 candidates nominated as deputies of the 15th NA, including two self-nominated candidates. 11 nominated candidates are trusted by all voters, while the two self-nominated candidates only received credit of half of voters.
For candidates for deputies of the Bac Giang People’s Council, after the second consultative conference, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee made and transferred the preliminary list and summary biographies of 148 candidates.
After approving the final list, delegates discussed and agreed to introduce 11 candidates (excluding candidates introduced by the Party Central Committee) as the 15th NA deputies.
Delegates agreed to introduce 128 candidates nominated as deputies of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Council (term 2021-2026)./.
