The event aimed to encourage cadres, party members and people of all walks in the province to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity, overcoming difficulties, challenges, promoting patriotic movements, building the province to be increasingly developed, determining to successfully complete the goals and targets of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, for the 2020 – 2025 term.

The political report submitted to the provincial Party Congress showed that in the 2015-2020 period, Hung Yen province realized a majority of criteria set in the last provincial Party Congress.

The Congress elected 52 comrades to the Executive Board of the 19th Provincial Party Committee, for the 2020-2025 term, and elected a delegation to attend the 13th National Party Congress, including 19 official delegates and 02 alternate delegates.

The Congress also voted unanimously to pass the Resolution of the Congress, identifying 19 specific targets in the fields of economy, society, environment, Party building and political system.

Over the past 5 years, it has boosted comprehensive socio-economic development and maintained rapid economic development, at an average of 8.38% per year.

In particular, in the 24 years since the province’s re-establishment, its budget collection has increased by nearly 200 times.

Hung Yen has become a destination for domestic and foreign investors, with 816 projects, an increase of 34.4% compared to the 2010-2015 period, while the export turnover has been reported to increase by 16.19% per year on average./.
