(13th Congress) – In Bac Ninh province, more than VND762 billion was disbursed as preferential loans to more than 22,000 poor households, near-poor households and other policy beneficiaries in Bac Ninh province in 2020.

According to the Bac Ninh Provincial Bank for Social Policies, its total mobilized capital reached over VND2.7 trillion, an increase of 7.05% compared to 2019.
The policy credit capital has contributed to timely support for production and business, creating jobs for more than 3,000 labourers; helped nearly 400 students in difficult circumstances to borrow money for study; building nearly 33,000 clean water and environmental sanitation works; supporting 48 individuals, women, young people, production and business establishments owned by women and youth to start a business or start a business; and supporting 215 customers to borrow money to build or buy social houses.
Policy credit activities have made an important contribution to the effective implementation of guidelines, policies, goals and tasks set by the Party and the State, helping poor households, near-poor households and policy beneficiaries have access to capital for investing in production, thus increasing income, improving living standards to step by step escape poverty, contributing to reducing the rate of poor households, ensuring social security, and building a new-style rural areas./.
