(13th Congress) – Over 72.7 billion have been mobilized from all organizations, agencies, businesses and sponsors since 2016 in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak, in order to assist the lives of the poor.

According to President of the provincial Fatherland Front H’Kim Hoa Byă, the organization has helped build over 8,050 houses and repair 354 houses; buy 394 cows; give medical treatment to 228 poor people; and provide over 22,800 presents for the poor.
In particular, for the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic the provincial Fatherland Front received over VND9 billion in support. Meanwhile, an additional VND9 billion and 14 tons of rice were donated to support people affected by recent natural disasters.
By practical programs, the provincial Fatherland Front, together with Party organizations and authorities, have accelerated poverty reduction and ensured social welfare.
As a result, the poverty rate has been reduced by 2.87% per year on average, to 4.99% in 2020.
Besides, beneficiaries’ and revolutionary contributors’ families have a higher or equal living standard compared to the average in residential areas./.
