(13th Congress) - The northern province of Bac Giang has set a goal of increasing the rate of trained labourers to 80% by 2025, while vocational training foundations aim to give vocational training to 147,500 labourers from 2021 to 2025.

To obtain the target, the province will rearrange the vocational training foundation network; and gradually increase the quality of training, with focus on training in medicine, pharmacy and health care.
There are currently 44 vocational training foundations in the province, which are capable of training nearly 36,000 labourers in 109 industries per year.
From 2016 to 2020, the foundations gave vocational training to over 155,200 labourers, giving priority to labourers in the industrial, construction and service sectors. The period also saw the disbursement of over VND43.8 billion to provide vocational training to nearly 15,400 rural labourers. Around 80-90% of trained labourers are reported to get jobs after vocational training graduation./.
