Localities’ COVID-19 prevention strengthened

As of May 20, Bac Giang reported over 600 COVID-19 cases and the number is forecast to rise in upcoming days. Presenting the capital to the province’s representatives, VFF Vice President Ngo Sach Thuc expressed his belief that the capital would help the province push back the pandemic, support people and boost economic recovery.

He suggested that the province should pay attention to ensuring safety for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels term 2021-2026. “The Provincial Fatherland Front should also increase cooperation with political and social unions to protect the legitimate rights and interests of labourers, and give better care for workers who have to be off work due to the consequences of COVID-19,” he said.

Presenting the assistance to Bac Ninh Province, one of localities seriously affected by the 4th wave of the pandemic with cases reported in industrial zones, VFF Vice President Nguyen Huu Dung stressed that he hoped the province would promptly and wisely allocate the capital to isolated areas, medical foundations and to buy COVID-19 vaccines to support beneficiaries’ and disadvantaged families.

Praising the efforts in COVID-19 prevention in Vinh Phuc Province, VFF Vice President Phung Khanh Tai said he hoped the Provincial Fatherland Front would continue to carry out drastic and effective measures, especially encouraging people to be involved in the prevention of the pandemic./.
