Accordingly, the Hanoi University of Science and Technology and its partner, NAVER Group, will jointly invest in the construction and operation of the center, aiming to develop specialized background research and train highly qualified human resources in the field of AI.
Currently, the center has more than 50 scientists from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and a number of experts from schools, institutes and technology groups in fields related to AI and its application.
The establishment of the center is part of the national strategy for AI research, development and application until 2030. Accordingly, Vietnam aims to become an innovation hub for creating and developing AI solutions and applications in the ASEAN region as well as in the world.
To do this, Vietnam must build 10 prestigious AI brands in the region, and develop 3 national centers for big data storage and high-performance computing./.
