(13th Congress) - Cam Pha city in the northern province of Quang Ninh has coordinated with Cao Son Coal Joint Stock Company to launch a tree-planting festival in the Year of the Buffalo to pay forever gratitude of Uncle Ho.

The move aims to follow Uncle Ho’s teachings “For the sake of ten years, we must plant trees, for the sake of 100 years, we should cultivate people” and concretize Directive 45/CT-TTg dated December 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister on organizing the “Tet tree-planting festival”.
In 2021, Cam Pha strives to plant 1,100 hectares of concentrated forest, 80,000 scattered trees of all kinds. In which, TKV planted 40,000 trees; Dong Bac Corporation planted 30,000 trees; and People’s Committee of precincts and communes planted 10,000 trees and flowering trees in residential areas.
Right after the launch ceremony, armed forces, workers and youth union members in Cam Pha planted more than 1,000 trees at Bang Nau dumping ground./.
