(13th Congress) - On December 8, delegates of the Nam Dinh provincial People’s Council elected Mr. Le Quoc Chinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Nam Dinh Party Committee, as Chairman of the 18th Nam Dinh People’s Council (term 2016-2021).
Mr. Le Quoc Chinh was elected as Chairman of the 18th Nam Dinh People’s Council with a high rate of votes.
In the framework of the 16th session, the 18th Nam Dinh People’s Council introduced and elected Mr. Le Quoc Chinh as Chairman of the provincial People's Council.
At the meeting, delegates of the provincial People’s Council voted and agreed to release Mr. Tran Van Chung from the position of Chairman of the Nam Dinh People’s Council for retirement.
In his speech at the event, Mr. Le Quoc Chinh affirmed that he will constantly study, rise up, make his best efforts in his work, and build solidarity and unity to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
He promised to effectively operate the apparatus of the provincial People’s Council to fully express the wishes of all classes of people, as well as perform other functions of the People’s Council to contribute to comprehensive development of Nam Dinh in the coming time.
The session also adopted 39 Resolutions on budget, planning, construction and issues related to socio-economic development of Nam Dinh./.
