The event had the participation of representatives of Party organizations under the municipal Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Hanoi Committee and political organizations.

During the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Hai Long, Deputy Director of the Training Center for Elected Representatives under the Standing Committee of National Assembly, introduced new features as well as preparations for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for tenure of 2021-2026.

Mr. Long also briefed the participants on National Assembly elections from 1946 until now, regulations of the law on election, communications on the suffrage, and others.

He also provided a number of main communication contents of the upcoming election to ensure that the election will truly become a festival of the people.

At the event, Standing Deputy Head of the municipal Party Committee’s Commission for Education and Communication Pham Thanh Hoc gave a brief overview on Resolution 34 of the municipal Party Committee on a strategy to protect national security in the city of Hanoi.

It is necessary to promote dissemination on the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for tenure of 2021-2026, associated with the realization of the resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the resolution of the Hanoi’s 17th Party Congress, he emphasized.

Mr. Hoc also stressed the importance to disseminate ten action programs of the 17th Party Committee, the outcomes of five-year implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo and Plan No. 18-KH/TU of the municipal Party Committee on increasing the studying and following of Ho Chi Minh’s example./.
