(13th Congress) - With 45 out of 46 votes (equivalent to 95.75%), Mr. Dao My was elected by the Phu Yen People’s Council as Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

On April 27, the 7th Phu Yen People’s Council (term 2016-2021) organized the 22nd session (the thematic session) to elect additional Deputy Chairman of the Phu Yen People’s Committee.
At the session, Chairman of the Phu Yen People’s Committee Tran Huu The read the report to introduce Mr. Dao My, member of the Executive Board of the Phu Yen Party Committee, and Secretary of the Cau River town Party Committee to be elected as Deputy Chairman of the Phu Yen People’s Committee for the 2016-2021 term.
Mr. Dao My was born in 1971, in Hoa Hiep Nam precinct, Dong Hoa town, in Phu Yen province. He has qualification of Bachelor of Economics, Master of Banking and Finance, and high-level politics.
From October 2018 to July 2020, he has been member of the Executive Board, Deputy Secretary of the Cau River town Party Committee, and Chairman of the Cau River Town People’s Committee. From August 2020 to now, he has been Secretary of the Cau River town Party Committee.
At the meeting, the Phu Yen People’s Council also approved 3 thematic resolutions, including: Resolution on deciding schedule to allocate for projects using local budget capital managed by Tuy An district, Resolution on recovering land, changing purpose of land use to realize projects in Phu Yen, and Resolution on policy and schedule of using provincial budget funds to upgrade the road route connecting Phu Yen with Gia Lai (the first phase)./.
