At the meeting, the municipal People’s Council discussed and ratified four resolutions, including two thematic resolutions on expenses for the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for tenure of 2021-2026, and approval of five projects using funding from the state budget. 

With the endorsement of 100% of its deputies present, the Hanoi People’s Council has passed a resolution on the investment of five projects using funding from the state budget worth a combined of VND1.75 trillion. 

Accordingly, these projects included the expansion of two national highway 21B sections in Ung Hoa and Thanh Oai districts in the city's southern area; the construction of road connecting Do Nhuan street to Xuan Dinh market in Bac Tu Liem district; the resettlement area for residents living in the surroundings of the Soc Son waste treatment complex at Hong Ky ward, Soc Son district; and the lighting system and decoration of Hoan Kiem lake area.
