(13th Congress) - The Standing Board of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has just issued a plan on organizing activities to celebrate the 131st birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19).

Specifically, it has asked agencies and localities to organize offerings at the Ho Chi Minh Square in Vinh City and the Kim Lien special national historical relic in Nam Dan District; and review the 5-year implementation of the Politburo’s directive on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.
Under the decision, the province will disseminate President Ho Chi Minh's life and glorious revolutionary activities; honor his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese Party and people, and to the communist and international workers movements; and express the deep respect and gratitude of the Vietnamese people and the love and respect of the people of all over the world towards President Ho Chi Minh.
The activities will also aim to affirm the eternal vitality of President Ho Chi Minh's thought; analyze and clarify the application and creative development of Ho Chi Minh's thought in the cause of renewal, industrialization and modernization of the country and international integration; and fight and disprove information, claims, wrong and distorted views on President Ho Chi Minh’s life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh.
The Standing Board of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee requested Party organizations, authorities and socio-political unions at all levels to organize activities to disseminate the life, activities and great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the cadres, Party members and all classes of people by promoting the information on mass media, websites, social networks, publications, and documentary films; and through talks, images and documents./.
