(13th Congress) - Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue has sent a letter sharing his thoughts with the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, authority and people on COVID-19 prevention.

He expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Party and State and the sharing of provinces and cities nationwide, Hai Duong Province would promote solidarity and creativity to carry out preventive measures and succeed in the fight against COVID-19, ensuring safety for people, restoring socio-economic development, and developing Hai Duong into a rich and strong province.
On February 18, on behalf of the Hanoi Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and the City Fatherland Front, President of the city Fatherland Front Nguyen Lan Huong presented assistance worth VND2 billion and 50,000 medical face masks to help Hai Duong control the pandemic.
She stressed that apart from the assistance, the Hanoi Party Committee directed the industry and trade sector to give utmost support for the consumption of products and goods, especially agricultural products of Hai Duong Province; and be ready to provide medical equipment and staff to increase testing capacity and other requirements for COVID-19 prevention.
Receiving the assistance, President of the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Nguyen Duc Tuan confirmed that Hanoi’s assistance would help the province defeat the pandemic, expressing his hope that the province would receive more support from other localities in the prevention of COVID-19./.
