At the event, member of the Standing Board and Chairman of the Binh Thuan Party Committee’s Commission of Inspection Phan Van Dang was elected as Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee with 92.6% of vote in favor.

Mr. Phan Van Dang was born in 1965, in Ham Thang commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province. He took a degree in law and a bachelor in political theory. 

Mr. Dang has experience in some important positions such as Secretary of the Communist Youth Union of Binh Thuan, Standing Deputy Head of the Binh Thuan Party Committee’s Commission of Mass Mobilization, Chief Inspector of the province, Head of the Binh Thuan Party Committee’s Commission of Mass Mobilization and Chairman of the Binh Thuan Party Committee’s Commission of Inspection.

Also at the meeting, the provincial People’s Council considered and discussed statements and passed 6 important resolutions, such as: regulations on the level of allowances and subsidies for the militia force, supplementation of the list of projects which are taken back by the State, and approval of the policy of compensating and supporting resettlement (the second phase) of the project of water reservoir of Luy River.

In his speech, Chairman of the Binh Thuan People’s Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh said that the meeting passed important resolutions and institutionalized State policies and laws in accordance with the reality of the locality./.
