Conference to review the 5-year implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style (Source: daihoi13.dangcongsan.vn)

Over the past 5 years, all levels of party committees, authorities, fronts and mass organizations in central Ha Tinh city have focused on directing the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo. Many innovations, good practices and many advanced examples make important contributions to the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security, especially the city building into second-grade urban standards city.

The work of building the Party and the political system is focused on renewal; the effectiveness of State management is enhanced; the administrative reform work continues to be a focus.The city is also a pioneer in developing and implementing regulations on criteria for evaluation, grading and classification of heads of non-business units and chairpersons of People's Committees of wards and communes.

The 5 year average economic growth reached 10.84%; the scale of the economy by 2020 reached over VND 13,600 billion, 1.68 times higher than in 2015; 5/5 communes achieve new rural communes, 10/10 wards meet urban civilization standards. Since 2016, the city has honored and awarded 40 collectives and 60 individuals. 6 individuals and 3 collectives were honored by the Standing Board of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung praised Ha Tinh city for having specific and practical action programs to well implement Directive 05 - CT/TW, contributing to local socio-economic development, improving the people's material and spiritual life./.
