(13th Congress) – 2,309 out of 2,310 (99.96%) grassroots party committees in Hanoi have completed their congresses. Only one grassroots party committee has not organized its congress.

The information was released at the 24th session of the Executive Board of Hanoi City Party Committee in Hanoi on June 30th to make reports on Party building and political system building from January to June and propose key tasks for the rest of 2020.
The City Party Committee selected three upper level grassroots party committees, including Ba Dinh District Party Committee, Gia Lam District Party Committee and Capital High Command Party Committee, to conduct model party congresses.
By the end of June 2020, the City Party Committee directed the successful organization of the Congress at 6 out 50 affiliated Party Committees.
According to the Head of Hanoi City Party Committee Commission of Organization Vu Duc Bao, over the past six months, the entire Party Committee of the City has promoted solidarity, responsibility and proactively focused on synchronous and comprehensive implementation of key tasks, and well handled unexpected and arising tasks.
From July to December, 2020, the Party building of Hanoi City Party Committee will focus four key tasks. Notably, the City Party Committee will focus on leading and directing the successful organization of Party congresses at all levels and the 17th City Party Congress, in association with the firm implementation of solutions to implement Resolution 15 and Directive 15 of the Standing Board of the City Party Committee. /.
