(13th Congress) - In 2021, Hanoi will strive to collect more than VND22 billion for the fund for payment of gratitude, according to a plan issued by the city People's Committee.

This is among activities organized to celebrate 74 years of the Day for War Invalids - Martyrs (July 27).
The city will also help repair and upgrade at least 47 martyrs’ memorials; upgrade the houses of at least 224 revolutionary contributors’ families; and present nearly 3,000 savings books to revolutionary contributors and their families. In particular, martyrs' mothers newly awarded the State honorable title "Vietnam Hero Mother" will be regularly taken care of by agencies and units with a minimum of VND1 million per month each.
On this occasion, it is expected that the city will give a total of more than 123,000 gifts, with a total budget of more than VND99 billion VND./.
