(13th Congress) - The Russian news agency Sputnik has delivered an article emphasizing that for nearly a century, the facts had proven that the correct leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam is the leading factor determining every victory of the revolution, creating many miracles for Vietnam.

Especially, the 91st anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam also took place right after the success of the 13th National Party Congress.
The article reviewed important milestones in the history of the establishment and development of the Communist Party of Vietnam from the first day of its establishment on February 3, 1930, confirming this is a great historical turning point of the people, opening up a glorious historical tradition and great victories.
The Communist Party of Vietnam was born with the first Political Platform, opening a new era for the Vietnamese revolution - the period of struggle for national independence to socialism. The event is a very important turning point for the history of Vietnam's revolution, deciding the development of the nation, ending the crisis of direction and leadership organization of the Vietnamese patriotic movement in the early 20th century.
The Russian news agency emphasized that the Communist Party of Vietnam was born as the result of the combination of Marxism-Leninism with the worker movement and the patriotic movement; proving that the Vietnamese working class matured and was able to carry out the historical mission of leading the revolution. With the birth and the policy of Vietnamese revolution as part of the world revolutionary movement, the Party enlisted the great support of the world revolution, combining national strength with the strength of the era, making glorious victories, and actively contributing to the cause of peace struggle, national independence and the advancement of world humanity.
Within just the first15 years, the Communist Party of Vietnam led the people to fight for national liberation, won the government, successfully ending with the August Revolution in 1945, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2, 1945. The article reviewed the Party’s leadership after the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam for defeating the wars of invasion by the French colonialists and the American imperialists, respectively, creating the famous victory of the Vietnamese people.

Under the serious influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2020 Vietnam's GDP growth still reached 2.91%, one of the highest in the world. Vietnam has joined most international organizations and has become an active and responsible member in the international community's activities. Vietnam has successfully assumed the role of ASEAN President 2020, AIPA 41, and as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the term 2020-2021.
