(13th Congress) – On November 8, Politburo member and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly (NA) Tong Thi Phong and a working delegation visited and gave presents to beneficiaries’ families in Moc Chau district, the northern mountainous province of Son La.

Visiting fallen soldier’s mother Pham Tho Van and wounded soldier Tran Duc Hanh, she confirmed that the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front, as well as all sectors, always cared for Vietnamese heroic mothers, and wounded soldiers’, fallen soldiers’ and revolutionary contributors’ families, adding that visiting and encouraging beneficiaries’ families was a practical activity.
Sharing beneficiaries’ families’ difficulties, she urged the Party organizations, authorities and Fatherland Front at all levels, as well as local socio-political organizations, to continue to care for beneficiaries’ families so that they could promote their tradition in making contributions to local development.
She expressed her belief that with their revolutionary tradition, each revolutionary contributor’s family would educate their younger generations to become good citizens who could make remarkable contributions to local development.
On the same day, the Standing NA Vice Chairwoman burnt incense to commemorate fallen soldiers in Moc Chau district./.
