Security and healthcare provision ready for ASEAN Summit

Accordingly, the preparations for ensuring security and healthcare were reported to be completed and ready for the Summit. 

Praising the efforts of the staff, he urged each individual to raise their sense of responsibility to realize their tasks, determining to ensure absolute security and safety for the Summit, with no single wrongdoing allowed. 

He assigned the Ministry of Information and Communications, as well as communications service providers, to ensure the best quality in images and connections; and work with relevant agencies of the Ministry of Public Security to ensure absolute cyber security. 

The Health Ministry's Department of Medical Examination and Treatment was urged to effectively prevent COVID-19, ensuring healthcare and safety for the senior leaders of the Party and State, and other delegates. 

The Public Security Deputy Minister also asked the Hanoi public security forces to ensure smooth and convenient traffic, firefighting and rescue work at the International Convention Centre. 

The 37th ASEAN Summit and related meetings will take place from November 12-15 via video conference. This will be a leading political and foreign event of special significance for Vietnam. 

The success of this Summit will be an outstanding mark, making an important contribution to enhancing the prestige and position of Vietnam in the region and in the world, and thoroughly preparing for the upcoming 13th National Party Congress./.
