The City Party Secretary confirmed that preventive measures had been carried out synchronously, praising and appreciating the efforts of all levels, especially the front-line forces like medical staff, armed forces, reporters and COVID-19 preventive teams at community.

Noting key tasks in the upcoming time, he urged relevant agencies to follow the motto “Fighting the pandemic like fighting the enemy”, more drastically fighting the pandemic, obtaining the highest goal of protecting people’s health, life and peace.

He also requested districts to establish isolated areas in each locality. When outbreaks are discovered, localities must apply creative models in isolating areas based on the pandemic’s influence, according to the City Party Committee Secretary.

“The city does not apply extreme blockage or distancing that can affect socio-economic development,” he said. “We are calm to adequately deal with the outbreaks, and in fact, we effectively control the pandemic by handling cases and suspected cases.”

He also asked agencies to mobilise all resources to provide sufficient medical equipment, ventilators, protective clothing and others; strictly manage medical check-ups and treatment procedures at hospitals; further promote the role of COVID-19 preventive teams in the community; and mobilise capital for vaccination./.
