During a meeting in Hanoi on November 21, Defence Minister General Ngo Xuan Lich and US National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien shared the view that the defence ties between Vietnam and the US have positively contributed to the bilateral comprehensive partnership, VNA reported.

Vietnam and the US will continue cooperating in order to cope with common challenges, thus significantly contributing to peace, stability, prosperity and cooperation in the region and the world, said the VNA.
