The Traffic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security on December 15 organized a deployment ceremony for traffic police to ensure traffic safety and order for the upcoming 13th National Party Congress in Hanoi and the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

The traffic police will boost patrols and strictly handle traffic violations on roads, railways, and waterways.

The traffic police will ensure absolute safety and security for the upcoming 13th National Party Congress, which will take place early next year in Hanoi.

Inspection teams will also be established to handle violations in key areas such as when buses stop, park, pick up and drop off passengers in unauthorized places.

Notably, they will cooperate with local authorities to inspect and handle administrative violations relating to the safety of railway traffic and order.
In addition, relevant forces will also increase inspections of Thong Nhat railway and key stations in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
The traffic inspectors will also work in collaboration with other units to check COVID-19 epidemic prevention measures at public transport hubs.
