As many of 150 maps and documents affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos are on display at an exhibition which opened in the southern province of Bac Lieu on December 11.

The exhibition is held by Bac Lieu City People’s Committee in coordination with Bac Lieu Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
At the opening ceremony on Friday, Cao Xuan Thu Van, Vice Chairwoman of the Bac Lieu provincial People’s Committee, said this exhibition showcases precious historical and legal evidences which reject China’s distortions of history and lawless claims over the two archipelagoes.
Exhibits help to disseminate the guidelines and policies of the Party and State in defending Vietnam’s sea and island, encouraging local people’s joint efforts to protect territorial integrity in adherence to Vietnamese and international laws.
The exhibition will run until December 13./.
